While the New York Jazz Academy does not offer any music programs at this time for children under 4, we recommend MUSIC TOGETHER as a great place to start for young children. Please check online for a MUSIC TOGETHER class near you.
Ages 4-8
Private Lessons
Lessons are available at your home, at a music rehearsal studio, or at the teacher's private studio. Rates start at $40/esson. Our teachers all must meet strict criteria as educators and musicians. They are also selected based on their communication skills and ability to work well with students of all ages. Lessons are 30-60 minutes at least once a week. Tuition payments are made per semester. Mid-semester or summer enrollment is prorated. View our rate list below. Rates are subject to change.
- Four (4) 30-minute lessons per month: $160/month, available only at teacher's studio
- Two (2) 60-minute lessons per month: $120-$200/month, depending on location (teacher's studio or at your home) and teacher
- Four (4) 60-minute lessons per month: $240-$400/month, depending on location (teacher's studio or at your home) and teacher

Private lesson rates range from $60/hr.-$100/hr., depending on the location and teacher. Our teachers all must meet strict criteria as educators and musicians.
